IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Team Lead, Enterprise Server & Storage the senior level Server Analyst specializes in activities related to the setup, installation, configuration, implementation, administration and support of backup, server, storage and related technologies. This includes hardware, operating system and software technologies. This person provides coaching and direction to other team members.

The Server Analyst will be responsible for supporting, administering, and troubleshooting the multiple storage environments that AGLC has. They will assist with installations, configurations, performance calculations and troubleshooting where needed. Additionally, they will be responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and documenting the virtual infrastructure throughout all environments. They will adhere to applicable IT processes and may develop new processes and procedures where needed.

The Server Analyst will be working within a team but will also need to work independently on many tasks to ensure deliverable timelines are met. They will often work closely with other business areas during issue resolution or project participation.

The primary responsibilities of this role within the Enterprise Server & Storage team includes the following:
Server and Storage Support
- Implementation and support of new server, storage or software solutions: including research, requirements analysis, configuration, testing and installation.
- Unpacking of hardware, inventory tagging, component installation, software and operating system installation as well as customization for clients.
- Creating and/or updating related documentation
- Support Disaster Recovery activities in the role of Major Incident Response Team, including training, creation and updating of related documentation, simulations and testing, and reacting to major incidents and disasters as required.

Issue Resolution
- Troubleshooting and remediation of any issues found or assigned.
- Problem determination and research through resources such as team documentation, manufacturer sites, technical manuals, books and other IT analysts etc.
- Providing after hours support (Standby) to ensure 24x7 support coverage on a rotational basis.
- Liaising with clients to determine and rectify problems, creating/modifying documentation and updating/closing calls in the incident tracking system.
- Escalating to supervisor and project management when required to remove roadblocks or to advise on critical issues.

Project Participation
- For assigned projects, work as part of the project team to deliver quality products to the AGLC that meet stated project objectives.
- Provide input and status of project tasks and timelines to project manager and project stakeholders.

**SKILLS/ABILITIES**

Minimum Recruitment Qualifications:

- Minimum of a Degree in a computer science or related discipline and 2 years of experience, preference will be given to individuals who have led projects.
- Equivalency: Minimum of a Diploma in computer science or related technology focused discipline and 4 years of experience, preference will be given to individuals who have led projects. A minimum of a Certificate in a computer science or related technology focused discipline and 5 years of experience with preference given to individuals who have led projects would also be considered.

Detailed Knowledge of the following items are required:

- Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems
- Backup infrastructure and functionality along with how it integrates with virtual and physical environments.
- Storage technologies (SAN, NFS, iSCSI etc.) and how they integrate with the virtualization lay
