Job Description
IBI Group is seeking a Contract Administrator to become a vital part of our team in managing and performing site reviews for residential high-rise projects through the construction phase. Working with senior staff, you will be responsible for attending site meetings, conducting site reviews and liaising with and coordinating with stakeholders, as well as managing daily site activities and requests from Owner, Contractor and consultant design team. Other duties and responsibilities would involve responding to Contractor’s requests, reviewing and processing of Shop Drawings, handling Request for Information, issuance of Supplemental Site Instructions, Change Notices, Change Orders and Payment Certification. This person would be responsible for making decisions on site as well as liaising with the office project architect.

- Review and comment of Contract Documents
- Review and comment of Specifications
- Review and comment of shop drawing submittals together with technical data sheet
- Site Review and Meeting coordination
- Reporting, Supplemental Instruction Contemplated Change Notice, Change Orders, review and issuance of Certificate for Payment
- Consultant coordination and liaison
- Office documentation
Qualifications
**You'll Need To Have**:
- Architect or Intern Architect, Graduate of a recognized university program or Graduate of a recognized technical college.
- OAA registered technologist preferred
- 8 to10 years experience with commercial, mix-use high-rise residential, senior living or healthcare projects
- Experience in wood, steel and construction detailing
- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
- Building envelope knowledge or accreditation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Extremely well organized with good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autocad
- Ability to coordinate consultants and office staff
Additional Information
We are currently in a work from home model during COVID-19, but when we do return to the office we're located at 55 St. Clair Ave West, this office is steps away from St. Clair station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car. Occupying 7 floors, with over 700 employees, it is the largest office at IBI Group. The floors are open concept and represent our collaborative approach to projects.
