The Supervisor, Restaurant Services will assist the Restaurants Manager with all aspects of front of house (FOH) operations at one or more of the Resort’s Restaurant operations. The Supervisor will provide leadership and support to all FOH associates, resolve service concerns, orientation protocols, lead associate training programs and provide peak meal period assistance on the floor. As a leader, the Supervisor will act as keyholder when the Manager is absent. They will work closely with supporting teams and departments, namely Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping & Maintenance departments. The Supervisor will actively participate in ongoing associate engagement programs and be the first involved in performance management matters. The Supervisor will lead by example, guiding and mentoring the Front of House team.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Coordinates daily the set-up and service plan for the restaurant in accordance with established standards;
- Delegates responsibilities and coordinates all Front of House associates based on forecasted business volume.
- Execute onboarding and orientation program for new and returning associates and providing feedback to the leadership team regarding opportunities for continuous improvement of the program
- Mentors, coaches, and provides active feedback to associates on a regular basis; As needed, assess associate performance and work with the Manager to execute service refinement training
- Assist the Manager with employee communication and engagement, oversee the “Blue Mountain Way” boards, document information for performance reviews and contribute fresh ideas and energy to help engage & motivate associates.
- Maintains mastery of the POS, balances transactions, executes end of day reporting, oversees gratuities, responsible for authorizing transaction credits, discounts & adjustments
- Responsible for resolving escalated service concerns and providing guidance to associates to undertake same
- Actively works with senior leadership and the culinary team to influence menu creation and refinement, service standards and special event planning

**WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?**
- 2-3 years’ experience as a dining room server
- Experience in a leadership role and/or training role an asset
- Demonstrable interpersonal and service engagement skills
- Attention to detail
- Industry certifications an asset (Smart Serve, Sommelier I, II, Leadership, etc)
