The NHL Coaches’ Association is the professional organization that represents the 200 coaches of the 32 teams in the National Hockey League. We are a dynamic and growing organization in the sports industry dedicated to delivering exceptional services and support for our members with an eye towards developing the next generation of NHL coach through programs and events.

We are looking for a passionate _Social & Digital Content Contributor_ to help take our digital and social online presence to new heights.

As the _Social & Digital Content Contributor_ at the NHL Coaches’ Association, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social and digital platforms.

This part-time, remote position is ideal for a creative individual with graphic design skills and a flair for crafting compelling copy. Time commitment may vary week to week depending on project flow as well as some seasonality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Content Creation: Design visually appealing and engaging graphics, images, and videos for social media posts and other digital platforms.
- Copywriting: Write captivating and concise copy to accompany the content, ensuring it resonates with the target audience and aligns with our brand voice.
- Content Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and contribute to the overall content strategy.
- Social Media Management: Post content on various social media platforms, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages promptly.
- Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of social and digital content using relevant tools, and provide insights to optimize future content.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, social media algorithms, and emerging digital marketing technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) to create visually appealing content.
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices.
- Familiarity with content scheduling and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling through visual and written content.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Basic understanding of analytics and the ability to derive insights from data.

**Education and Experience**:
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
