Job Title: Inside Sales Representative (IS)

Job Location: Vanier Quebec City (Onsite)
This role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by receiving, generating, and processing sales orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating service needs. The position also serves as a customer contact for pricing, scheduling, and delivery matters.
**Primary Job Duties**:
- Receive sales orders through various channels and enter required information into the system for order picking.
- Resolve customer issues by liaising with outside sales, accounting/credit department, materials control, and warehouse; recommend improvements and corrective actions.
- Prepare sales and delivery quotations, communicate quotes and product specifications, and coordinate deliveries with customers.
- Actively use selling techniques to increase sales and promote complementary or substitution products.
- Follow up on direct shipments from suppliers to ensure timely order delivery and billing.
- Stay current with company products and services.
- Participate in the Company Health and Safety Program; undertake training as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Secondary Job Duties**:
- Assist in acquiring **Mill Test Reports (MTR)** from suppliers for customers as needed.
- Assist in the warehouse at smaller sites when required **(picking/packing, shipping orders, re-stock inventory).**:
- Assist with physical inventory as needed.
- Assist with reception duties as required.
- Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as requested.
- Prepare and generate reports as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual proficiency may be required for some locations.
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Self-starter, well-organized with the ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
- Computer literate with good mathematical skills.
**Education & Experience**:
- College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Two (2) years of experience in customer service, sales, or warehouse environment, preferably with progressive levels of responsibility.
- A combination of education and experience.
