- **Seeking**:_
P/T leading to F/T- Front desk administrative role to fulfill 30-40 hours per week to start. Would require one evening per week and two Saturdays a month.
- **Duties**_
- Minimum two years dental office experience required. Proficiency in dental terminology a must. Experience using Dentrix software preferred.
- Computer savvy. Proficient at scanning documents and sending insurance claims in a high paced customer service environment.
- Interact in a friendly, energetic and professional manner with all patients to facilitate appointment bookings and payments for services rendered
- Ensure patient education and comprehension of the office treatment philosophy, which is to provide the best dentistry possible for all patients
- To ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete including signed consent and waiver forms, assisting with processing reports, correspondence, clinical notes and records
- Primary responsibility to ensure positive patient experience. Responsible for a warm welcome, the engagement of pleasant conversation, patient motivation and a memorable farewell (encouragement of feedback/engagement on social media platforms)
- Ensure that any communication with the patient is consistent and in line with office policy
- Assist in upholding and promoting the positive reputation of the practice and dentists/providers
- Generate insurance breakdowns to determine available insurance balances and services that will be covered
- Process patient billing and submit insurance claims
- Assist in adding pre-determination codes to the computer and scheduling future appointments, as directed
- Attend further continuing education courses upon request
- To be aware and encourage patients to have the correct treatment at their next visit
- Ensure patients are aware of their options in regards to dental treatment
- Keep personal space and other common working spaces clean and tidy. Keep the patient lounge and reception area tidy
- Maintenance of office privacy protocols
- Willingness to support crossover duties (assist dentist / hygienists as needed) helping out in miscellaneous duties to assist the proper functioning of the practice
- Ensure that patients have another appointment upon leaving, promoting limited availability for future bookings
- Actively encourage patients to refer family and friends by promoting the positive aspects of the practice and team
- Respond to inquiries / reviews on social media platforms (google reviews etc.)
- Taking an active role in presenting and implementing new office policies and procedures
- Be at work, ready, prior to first patient arrival in morning and after lunch
- Not a remote position
