**General Job Description**: The Receptionist - Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations. Their duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, sorting and delivering mail to employees and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Receive visitors at the front desk by greet, welcome, direct, and announce them appropriately

2. Answer and forward incoming calls

3. Answer client queries by contacting the CRA or using resourceful materials

3. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail

4. Ensure a clean, professional, and tidy office environment

6. Receive payments and record on book

7. Update calendar and schedule meetings

8. Keep track of and order office supplies as needed

9. Perform other clerical duties such as, filing, photocopying, and faxing, as well maintain paper or electronic documents and records

10. Maintain the filing room on a weekly basis

11. Complete and submit HST rebates to the government

12. Assist the team when required

13. Maintain the CEO office on a daily basis

14. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

**Qualifications for the Job**:
1. Knowledgeable in tax preparation

2. Strong written and oral communication skills

3. Professional attitude and appearance

4. Excellent customer service skills

5. Multi-tasking and time
- management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

**Education**:High school diploma; additional post-secondary accounting degree or diploma would be an asset

**Experience**:1 to 2 years of proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar role

**Computer Skills**: Must be proficient in Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and S

ocial media

Pay: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
