**The Opportunity**:
In this role, you will be the “go to” with regards to marketing related issues and initiatives within the Managing General Agent (MGA). You will also be responsible for fostering and developing key broker relationships within the
MGA.
You will provide marketing leadership to national underwriting team members, providing strong technical knowledge and management skills to support the team in achieving the goals of the organization. You will also work with broker partners, new and existing, to build brand loyalty, increase production, identify new product/ program opportunities and training.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review company plans and objectives and develop marketing plans to help support and achieve goals
- Work with divisional management to develop specific marketing plans based on division, products and territories -Personal, Programs, Agile Sprint, Commercial
- Work with Underwriting (UW) staff to provide sales coaching/mentoring and to liaise relationships between UW staff and Broking staff
- Management of corporate marketing/ communications relationships including responsibility for marketing/ promotional budget ensuring adequate allocation to achieve marketing goals
- Coordinate and arrange industry event participation including conventions, trade shows, conferences, golf tournaments, regional events, and providing post-event reports and analysis
- Develop marketing content in conjunction with Marketing team and utilize various media
- digital, print, etc.
- Development and integration of a Continuing Education Accreditation program - offering applicable content to partners with a marketing spin for Agile
- Development and maintenance of a formal preferred partner/tiered broker program including value adds for all parties
- Researching and developing market intel reports and communication of same to the Agile’s leadership and employees
- Identification of market, product and broker opportunities; in particular in the digital space promoting Agile’s growing online presence
- Promote and train broker partners on new products and platforms
- Work with operations one-trade platform - providing broker/ market insight
- As a key representative of the company, maintain strong relationships with our client representatives, insurer suppliers, business partners and local business associations (ie. CAMGA, Councils, etc)
**Here’s what you bring**:
- University degree or equivalent
- CIP/FCIP
- 5 years management/ marketing/ sales/ underwriting experience within the insurance industry
- Marketing experience
- Experience working in a digital space
- Underwriting experience (preferrable)
- Experience working with multiple regions/offices
- Strong communications skills - verbal and written
- Presentation skills
