Talent Acquisition Specialist - 12 Month Contract

What You’ll be Doing:- Plan and coordinate the stages within the recruitment process, including screening calls, assessments and interview- Liaison with employment agencies, colleges and industry associations- Organize and attend job fairs and employer engagement events- Analyze talent acquisition metrics, prepare reports and recommend process improvements- Lead talent acquisition projects that enhance the TA function- Support in the recruitment and selection, and the administration of TCI’s co-op program- Train, support and provide feedback to the Talent Acquisition co-op student- Ensure compliance with company practices and legal regulations
What You’ll Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources- 1+ years Talent Acquisition or HR experience- Thorough knowledge of Canadian Provincial Legislation governing employee recruitment, selection, and hiring- Comprehensive knowledge in full lifecycle of recruiting-
- Excellent communication skills- Proven experience developing strong partnerships and gaining the trust & respect of business units- Ability to influence without authority and manage ambiguity- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines- Strong collaboration, consultation and negotiation skills- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
