**Why We Need You**:
Our **Sudbury **clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest **Optical **Associate.**
You will play a critical role within FYidoctors and are crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our patients. As our newest **Optical **Associate** you'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we'll continue to have a positive impact on our current patients' health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven't yet met.
This is a full-time position, working 30-40 hours a week. This position is a permanent role working from Monday's to Saturday's.
**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties
- Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts and billing and payments
- Warmly greeting patients as they enter our clinic
- Checking patients both in and out of the office
- Administering pre-testing services
- Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality
- Interpreting optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist
- Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills
**What Do You Bring?**
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment preferred
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset
- Passionate about customer service
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers
- A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
