**Summary**:
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Adjudicate Internal Mortgage Files
- Build and maintain positive relations with Borrowers to ensure high quality mortgage loans
- Solicit alternative financing for non-renewed mortgages
- Seek out new borrowing/lending opportunities and options
- Ensure supporting documentation relating to a deal is deemed satisfactory in order for the deal to proceed on to funding
- Exhaust all avenues of funding with Brokers and Clients
- Recommend appropriate files for renewals
- Determine funding options and funding availability
- Prepare and issue mortgage renewals with appropriate conditions within established service level agreements/turnaround times
- Instruct files to appropriate Counsel
- Review existing mortgages requesting renewal
- Maximize business volumes by meeting and exceeding targeted funding goals
- Stay current on latest industry news, legislation, competition, and market trends
- Maintain positive relationships with external partners such as appraisers, title insurance companies, realtors/real estate brokers, and solicitors

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Solid knowledge of the Mortgage industry in Alberta
- Good understanding of Filogix system, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Strong aptitude for service excellence
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage pressure in a high-risk and high-volume team environment with tight turnaround times
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated to maximize and achieve business objectives through a common sense lending approach

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- MUST HAVE ALBERTA MORTGAGE ASSOCIATE LICENSE
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in commerce, finance, or business disciplines
- Minimum 5 years lending/underwriting experience including 4 years of mortgage industry experience
- Experience in Real Estate is an asset

**Salary**:
