**About the Role**:
Railing Excellence is looking for a Exterior Railings Coordinator to join our Production Team. The Production Team is the heartbeat of all production activity at the company - it’s at the intersection between satisfying our home builder’s order requests while coordinating the measuring, ordering, and installation of their railings for front porches, walk ups, balconies, and privacy screens. It requires consistent coordination, both internally and externally, to ensure our client needs are met without compromising our company’s ability to deliver.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Creating, managing, and being accountable for the company’s exterior railing ordering and that installation schedules being met on time.
- Build a strong rapport and lasting relationships with our builders’ site supervisors, service departments, and suppliers.
- Develop an understanding of each builder’s housing construction cycles
- Coordinate installation schedules with various builders concurrently
- Optimize the use of the company’s roster of exterior installers to ensure housing installations are scheduled based on geography, skillset, and builder deadlines
- Prepare reports to showcase installation velocity and output to management
- Resolve installation conflicts with builders and installers and reschedule as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with various business and plant teams including but not limited to: sales, service, installation, and measuring.
- Creating work orders and including measurements ensuring compliance with Ontario Building Code.
- Process work orders after installation, calculating footage, and verifying installer invoices.
- Learn railing components, installation requirements, and engineering standard for different styles of railings.

**Applicants must have the following skills, experience, and expectations**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a client-facing role.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, in office working environment. This is **NOT** a work from home position.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams or similar.
- Intermediate mathematical skills, specifically with fractions and understanding measurements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a previous track record of interfacing with clients from large, high revenue accounts.

**Bonus Points If**:

- You have knowledge or previous experience working in home construction, manufacturing or related trades.
- You have a familiarity with the stair and/or railing industry.
- You have used software tools such as CRMs or ERPs to manage and report on your work.
