**Position: Human Resources Generalist**

Viola is a well-established mid-sized construction company headquartered in Markham, Ontario, with a strong track record of delivering comprehensive services to clients throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our operations span the municipal, residential, and ICI sectors, with a particular focus on the Manufacturing and Sale of top-quality Asphalt.

Your duties include overseeing the onboarding process of new employees, training company employees about corporate policies and procedures, and providing support to the corporate workforce.

In addition, you will be expected to be well-versed in the laws and regulations related to the hiring and firing of employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Arrange New Employee on-boarding and training, and track completion.
- Answer question from employees and recording complaints.
- Able to investigate complaints, do reporting, and present findings.
- Implement company programs.
- Entering data into HR database (Purely HR)
- Track employee attendance, and use of their vacation and sick days
- Update company policies and procedures for compliance with current regulations
- Help with providing payroll information when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
- Well organized and can prioritize multiple tasks based on deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work long hours when required.
- Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
- Excellent interpersonal communication, and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills in writing and verbal
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge about conflict management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.

**Education**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- CHRP would be an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a degree in a related discipline or Multiple certificates with years of experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
