**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Peer Program Manager is responsible for providing operational leadership, management, mentorship, direction and support to the Peer Program Coordinators across the province. The Peer Program Manager is responsible for developing the Family Peer program in consultation with the family member advisory group and the Director, Client Services. The Peer Program Manager provides peer leadership, mentoring, operational development, monitoring and delivering services to assist persons with spinal cord injuries and their family members through the continuum of care.

This position is based out the provincial office with the opportunity to work a hybrid model ie: 3 days in office.
- **Reporting to the Director, Client Services, you will**:_
- Provides vision and leadership in service delivery, development and evaluation to facilitate the growth of Peer and Family Services for people with living with spinal cord injuries.
- Leads and inspires direct reports by proactively supporting client services staff’s activities and challenges, providing effective and timely communication, providing sounding board and problem-solving strategy and by role modeling effective, supportive leadership.
- Provides for quality assurance and program services evaluation under the direction of the Director, Client Services.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the effective delivery of Peer and Family Services.
- Prepares and updates the Peer budgets and is responsible for developing program plans and monitoring progress throughout the year.
- In collaboration with the Director, Client Services and his/her colleagues, assists in the development of long-term vision, goals and strategies related to Peer and Family Services.
- Responsible for analyzing monthly service data, makes recommendations for improvement, and utilizes the data to make effective service recommendations.
- Builds and supports effective relationships with rehabilitation and community service providers.
- Coordinate and oversee the progress of research partnerships, providing ongoing support to ensure timely and successful completion of projects and deliverables.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Post-secondary education in counselling, psychology, social work or a related discipline or a combination of education and lived experience.
- Training and/or relevant experience in peer support, disability issues, volunteer program development and program management.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Undergraduate degree in rehabilitation, social work, psychology or related discipline, an asset.
- Ability to develop effective working partnerships with various community groups and service and health care providers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining connections and relationships using a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated planning/organization and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate presentations and workshops.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency working in an MS Office environment.
- Ability to travel within the region, with occasional provincial travel.
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends, as needed.
