Position Summary
This position is responsible for all marketing systems and programs administration, data management and reporting for respective marketing activities/support to ensure that these systems/programs are both running efficiently in set up and automation, and are being used to their fullest potential. Such programs include SalesForce, Pardot, Google Analytics and SEO optimization tools (e.g. SEOptimer), and RiseVision broadcast television system.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce and Pardot
- Collaborate with Sales on targeted sales campaigns to define each campaign’s objective/target group/messaging/measurable goals, and ensuring that these programs are developed, progress tracked at pre-determined milestones, and campaign effectiveness/success communicated to the business upon completion
- In SalesForce, create and manage dynamic contact lists, automation rules, page actions, dynamic content, completion actions, connected apps, etc.
- Work with Salesforce Administrator to manage Pardot and Salesforce integration, to manage customs fields, run campaigns, database cleanup, to create reports and dashboard, etc.
Farrow Website
- Strategize how to continuously improve the Farrow website’s design, user experience, traffic and content by monitoring and analyzing Google Analytics to track website activity, visitor data, conversion tracking, etc. and implement plans to improve website experience
- Monitor social media analytics and collaborate with Marketing Manager to ensure engagement is driving users to Farrow website for value added thought leadership content
- Work with SEO tools to improve keyword ranking and search performance
Miscellaneous Programs
Survey Monkey
- Oversee Farrow’s annual Customer Satisfaction survey including survey design and execution, tabulation and analyzing of results, and dissemination of results via creative collateral
- Manage the execution of ad hoc marketing research surveys, including the drafting, uploading, and results tablulation/reporting
Lead Generation Programming
- Procuring potential client list for sales-directed campaigns
- Maintaining database(s)
Other Duties
- Review and monitor online trends and opportunities with respect to social media and digital communications programs/tools/platforms
- Act as the Farrow liaison/representative between system/program supplier companies through regular account interaction
- Introduce new programs/tools for improved business efficiencies or data gathering/building, as awareness of these new tools occurs
- Administer Request for Proposal (RFP)/Service Proposal content, ensuring that these templated documents are kept current as business updates are made
- Support the marketing team with other creative or written initiatives as required
- Other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in Marketing, Communications or Business
- Minimum 4 years experience in marketing
- Experience working with Salesforce/CRM and Pardot Marketing Automation tools (Salesforce and/or Pardot certification an asset), Google Analytics and SEO tools
- Experience with website UX and data management, coupled with a good understanding of SEO strategies and tools
- Basic Microsoft Office programs knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of customs brokerage and logistics industry an asset
Competencies, Working Skills & Attributes
- Digital marketing fluency with solid understanding of digital marketing best practices
- Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, or similar CRM programs
- Knowledge of social media management and monitoring tools (e.g. Sprout Social), including familiarity with common social media KPI’s including audience, amplification and conversation rate.
- Ability to time manage multiple simultaneous concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated oral, written and editing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships and work confidently and effectively with individuals
