**A Day in the Life**
This position is responsible for leading the business development initiatives within the geomatics sector.
Additional key responsibilities include:
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport, build relationships and identify and pursue new sales leads.
- Developing a growth and market strategy with financial forecasts and various plans such as talent, sales and operating plans
- Assist in setting charge out rates for geomatics personnel and equipment
- Assist in establishing/maintaining standards / processes for Geomatics team
- Work closely with Operations Leaders, geomatics team, and shared services to ensure effective resource sharing
- Partner with the talent acquisition team to help attract, hire and onboard new team members and work closely with the HR team to continue to engage and retain team members.
- Actively contribute toward maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and for those working with you.
**What You’ll Bring to the Team**
- 10+ years of previous experience in geomatics
- Proven business development and client relationship focus
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members at all levels of Allnorth
- Aptitude to support and mentor/teach other members of the team
- Competence to work without supervision with effective time management and strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and be result oriented
- Drive, energy, and an enthusiasm for completing projects and tasks
- Skilled in relationship management, to maintaining and leveraging relationships with key stakeholders
- Skilled at challenging others to constantly improve and innovate
