Salary RangeThe estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThis role entails leading Caltechgroup's digital transformation initiatives, focusing on value creation, efficiency, and sustainability. As the IT Director, you will champion a digital-first culture across the organization, develop and manage an integrated IT/OT strategy, and ensure the scalability and impact of technology initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead the IT department in strategic initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
- Drive digital initiatives with a focus on creating measurable value.
- Oversee the adoption and implementation of new technologies that enhance business processes and customer engagement.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement processes to optimize IT performance and align IT services with business requirements.
- Act as Caltechgroup's Privacy Officer, ensuring data protection policies comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, allocating resources to meet strategic goals.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and vendor management, preferably in professional services industries.
- A proven track record of leading successful IT projects and initiatives, focusing on delivering business value.
- In-depth knowledge of systems, networks, servers, and Azure cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with IT governance, including policies, standards, and compliance regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring change and aligning diverse teams towards common goals.
- A deep understanding of IT/OT integration and the specific challenges and opportunities within professional services industries.
- Experience in database management, including knowledge of database systems, data governance, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with programming languages, software development life cycles (SDLC), and application management.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and contribute to a high-performing team.
