**Job Summary**
This position is a temporary position until March 31, 2025 with possibility of extension. Note that the role's deliverables and responsibilities may evolve to match provincial and or local OHT priorities
The Project Coordinator will support the implementation of Northern York South Simcoe Ontario Health Team projects, ensuring planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects. It involves coordination of steering committee and multiple working groups. The role will ensure all tasks are executed efficiently, timelines are met, and goals are achieved, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of project delivery.
The role will demonstrate strong business analysis and use project management best practices to ensure successful delivery of projects in collaboration with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
- Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., BHSc., BSc., BA., BEng.) from a recognized accredited university or post-secondary diploma and/or relevant experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards obtaining one is an asset.
- Recent, within the past 2 years, experience in healthcare sector projects or equivalents an asset
- Knowledge of Change Management principles is an asset
- Ability to manage data to produce statistics, metrics, scorecards and reports is an asset
- Demonstrates initiative, high degree of accuracy and ability to handle a complexity of tasks simultaneously
- Ability to identify process issues and make recommendations to solve them
- Experience engaging with staff and physicians in a healthcare setting is an asset
- Professional and customer service oriented with an ability to work with individuals across all levels of the organization.
- Adept in the use of technology to support the project functions
- Acts as a Trusted Partner: Works with others to reach outcomes that further the OHT’s objectives.
- Ability to support the facilitation of meetings.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Support the development of project reports, presentations, proposals, poster presentations and other related documents, as required.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings and providing administrative support as needed.
- Support the creation of process maps and procedural documentation through design and development - e.g., LEAN principles.
- Monitor project progress, preparing regular reports, and provide data-driven insights to Committees.
- Support the development and maintain project documentation (e.g., charters, project plans, risk management plans, communications, change management plans, etc.).
- Support the evaluation of all aspects of projects and strategies to support intervention modifications and assessment of effectiveness.
- Prepare the agenda and minutes for the various Committees and Working Groups, distributing meeting materials in a timely manner to facilitate committee functioning
- Support the preparation corporate document status reports, as required
- Coordinate and support administrative tasks for project-related meetings.
- Support and coordinate the development of project plans for OHT initiatives
- Support new project development, expansion and transition to program in collaboration with leadership as required
