**Organization Overview**

Social Enterprise for Canada(SEC) is a progressive charitable organization, dedicated to creating communities that exemplify Canadian values. SEC maintains its head office in Newmarket and provides direct human services for multiple programs, which include Supervised Access, EarlyON Child & Family Centres, Welcome Centre for Immigrant Services Newmarket and numerous Before & After School and licensed Childcare programs, providing excellence in delivery, through customer focus and high satisfaction, high impact and operational efficiency.

**The role**

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the **Executive Assistant and Projects Coordinator** will be accountable for administrative oversite and leadership of key organizational projects, corporate information management and communications. The Executive Assistant will also assist the CEO and SEC’s leadership team with time management, administrative functions and internal and external relationship management.

The Executive Assistant and Projects Coordinator will:

- Coordinate and manage all administrative tasks for SEC’s internal leadership team, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining organizational and project documentation
- Develop and maintain assigned project schedules and ensure project milestones are met
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders
- Support reception and other administrative staff within the agency
- Assist the CEO with Board of Directors administrative duties as assigned
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Logical thinker with strong ability to design and implement information and process systems
- Strong hands on leadership skills and the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders others internally and externally to the agency
- High tolerance for change and ambiguity

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Canadian or international diploma or degree or in administration, project management or related field or the equivalent accumulated progressive experience
- 3 years related full time experience in project coordination and/or administration
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding
- Problem solving, resourceful, excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of professionalism and integrity,
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and good judgement
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a changing environment
- Strong team player and relationship builder

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
