PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The worldwide Alliances & Channels organization at Salesforce provides global leadership developing partnerships with Strategic Consulting Partners. Salesforce is transforming the industry and our strategy organization is growing to help us scale as we invest in relationships with 5 named, strategic Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a GSI Global Strategy Analyst/Sr Analyst to drive executive-level recommendations and tools that directly impact an industry-leading Partner Account Management team.

Sample projects and results range from evaluating worldwide market opportunities, building a scalable reporting infrastructure, supporting the creation of the GSI growth strategy, and key performance metric reviews. This high-impact role grants you outstanding access to senior leaders across our global business, empowering you to translate data into actionable recommendations that fuel the success of strategic partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Strategy and Execution Partner: Be comfortable having clear, effective conversations with partner-facing roles of varying levels of seniority, to understand strategic needs and translate into scalable results
- Data-Driven Insights: Align with analytics teams to ensure tools and dashboards are available and accurate, to unlock new insights and findings for stakeholders. Participate in ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations.
- Strategic Decision Making: Prepare analysis and recommendations to advise strategic decision-making. Drive GSI leader-level business reviews, strategic projects, and ambitious initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and impactful outcomes.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Assist strategy business partners and sales leaders in driving all steps of Salesforce's A&C GSI Go-to-Market strategy, including market segmentation, sales alignment, and headcount planning.
- Process Optimization: Advocate for and implement process improvements, finding new ways to automate existing tasks and troubleshoot operational issues. Propose effective changes to systems and processes to address root causes. Drive long-term critical initiatives and transformational projects partnering with other functions to unlock future growth opportunities, and drive business innovation and organizational change
- Analytics Optimization: Engage with business customers to understand functional requirements and map them to the appropriate Analytics. Where vital, develop and maintain GSI-specific reporting tools and dashboards.
- Be an excellent teammate: Collaborate with a distributed team of partner strategists to provide analytic and operational insights built to last. Operate with ‘better, better, never best’ approach to focus on ongoing improvement and scalability for our customers.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Understand customer management including setting expectations, leading project scope, and designing for the long-term.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include customer segmentation, total addressable market, etc.)
- Familiar with CRM and Salesforce reporting, coupled with sophisticated G-suite expertise (Sheets, Slides, etc.) and comfort with Excel, SQL, Tableau/Alation/Snowflake, or other Business Intelligence tools. Experience with automation tools is a plus
- Thorough and quality-focused, with a passion for driving process improvements and operational excellence
- Strong written & oral communication skills to translate sophisticated info into easily digestible insights and executive presentations
- Strong presentation and organizational skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations
- Resilient Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond
- Highly collaborative style with strong networking skills across business functions Flexible and able to adjust on the fly to new demands; work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment

EDUCATION / SKILLS
- Degree or equivalent proven experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles
