An estimated salary range for this position in Downtown Toronto is $75-$110 per hour, based on industry standards and market conditions.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at a global bank. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working onsite 3x a week in Downtown Toronto, where they will be part of a growing team in the Prime Brokerage group focused on ongoing regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between operational users and technical teams, converting regulatory requirements into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with operational users to understand their needs and gather Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Convert BRDs into technical specifications for developer work
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and documentation of requirements
  • Assist in regulatory processes and execution of projects

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets & Financial Products (Futures, Options)
  • Background working with enterprise-level banks/financial institutions
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent knowledge in BASEL and LCR for regulatory compliance
  • Comfortable working with large data sets to analyze/summarize in Excel (Pivot Tables) and SQL Queries
  • Excellent communication with the ability to prepare presentations, collaborate with teams, and work with senior executives
