Job Title: Senior Financial Markets Analyst

About the Job:

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at a global bank in Toronto. This candidate will be responsible for working closely with operational users and technical teams to understand regulatory requirements and convert them into actionable project plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with operational users to gather Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and understand their needs.
  • Translate BRDs into technical specifications to facilitate developer work and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with BASEL and LCR regulations.
  • Assist in project execution, including data analysis and summarization using Excel (Pivot Tables) and SQL Queries.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets & Financial Products (Futures, Options).
  • Background working with enterprise-level banks/financial institutions.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

Salary and Location:

The estimated salary for this position is $75 per hour. The job is located in Downtown Toronto.
