Product Development Coordinator

**What you’ll do**
- Manage ticketing procedures for Marks
- Manage sample library, sample requests from buyers, and work with Quality Assurance team on follow up of all production samples
- Complete daily administrative duties as required - courier, order entry, inventory reports, etc.
- Work with Product Manager to develop seasonal collections -fabric research, data entry of styles, costs, sample approvals and tracking.
- Liaise with overseas and domestic vendors and buyers regarding orders and delivery issues
- Track orders - liaise with importing and logistics departments and maintain tracking report
- Assist Product Manager’s in preparation for pre-line meetings
- Complete sell through analysis, competitive brand research, comparative sales and margin reports, visit stores on regular basis for purpose of research, product knowledge and staff feedback.

**What you bring**
- A Diploma or Degree in Fashion Marketing, Apparel Design, Business Administration, and/ or Product Development.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- International or domestic product development is considered an asset
- Fluency in French is considered an asset

Daily tasks:
MAIL
Track incoming parcels using Tracker
Check category Bin, open and process all packages
Collect parcels for the entire floor according to the designated day. Open every package and distribute according to the attentions name
Prepare AWBs and drop off outgoing parcels to the Mailroom
Send AWB# to the vendor for outgoing parcels
Contact the applicable courier companies to resolve delivery issues

SUBMISSIONS
Stamp the received date on these submit sheets / garment tags before passing to Design, PM, TD
SIZE SET: Receive samples in PLM, then pass to QA
PROTOS, PP, TOP: Receive samples in PLM, then pass to PM for review before PM passes to QA. Check samples in PM's absence
Repeat styles PP/ TOP: Receive samples in PLM, check samples to ensure fabric, trims, labels, tags, packaging are correct prior to passing to the PM for final approval and sign-off
When PP samples return from TD: Keep organize samples for easy reference when need it
When TOP samples return from TD: Pass approved TOP samples to Mark's Buyers
GOLD SAMPLES: Send the sealed samples received from TD to the vendor (if applicable)
Trim Card signed copy: Once if approved by PM, send to the vendor (if applicable)

LAB-DIP REQUEST
Once receive the link with the request from Desing, copy the colour request into the designated template. Complete the information with the help of your PM, once it is complete, send the lab-dip request to the vendors
Maintain Lab-dips / trim Tracker update for easy reference

SUBMISSIONS
Set up and maintain binders organize and update
When lab-dip /trim submits arrive pass them to Design with all history if applicable (approved L/D, S/O, and quality swatches are included)
Collect submits form the Out Box, review comments and send to vendors. Files them in the binders and updates the tracker.
Assist PM in sending comments when needed or in PM absence. (PM still owns this task).
When Trim Card arrive, review care labels, RFID, then pass it to PM with all history (approved L/D, S/O, and trims) for approval
When Bulk submits arrive pass them to PM with all history if applicable (approved L/D, S/O, and quality swatches are included)

REVIEW FOR APPROVAL OR REJECTION
Approve web orders on Accent & check AD spreadsheets where applicable

TESTING CHECK LIST
Create testing chart for Testing Coordinator (vendor/ fty, style, description, colours, fabric content, location on garment, special claims, x-fty date), and save completed chart in shared drive

PHOTO SAMPLES / ATTRIBUTE LIST FOR MDM
Once receive the information from Buyers, send photo sample requests to vendors
Create an attribute list based on information from PLM and help from your PM. Send list to buyers for approval. Once approved, send the list to the Pro Team so that they can distribute it to the vendors.
Smartsheet: Review for approval or rejection based on the list of attributes previously approved by the buyer.
