Carre Blanc was Founded in 1984 with over 145 boutiques in France and one flagship Montreal boutique that has serviced our clients for over 25 years. We specialize in premium home linens, specialty baby linens, personalized gifts and much more.

Carré Blanc has a passion for artistic expression and the ability to create exclusive collections.

The name Carre Blanc ,( White Square) describes our vision of creating linen designs that start with a blank canvas. Our designers then create stories that inspire change, through meaningful artistic expression. Our clients are residential designers, homeowners and specific markets where our product brings value.

As part of our Canadian expansion, Carré Blanc is adding an Assistant Manager/ Business

Development Manager for our store located on St Denis Street, in Montreal Quebec.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Under direction of the store Manager and with guidance from Vice President, execute

retail selling strategies, storewide promotions, programs, and events at retail.
- Identifying and contacting potential clients through networking and marketing methods
- Developing new sales areas and markets.
- Planning and directing marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborating with Store Manager and Toronto Based Team to meet targets.
- Creating sales presentations for potential clients
- Seeking, developing, and managing a network of local designers’ partners
- Addressing client complaints or concerns
- Execute retail promotions for Carré Blanc
- Establish ongoing coordination and communication with Toronto Headquarters to

coordinate sales calls and retail promotions.
- Partner with cross functional business areas to influence and gain buy-in for in-store

strategies related to digital and mobile programs.
- Keep all products and in-store presentations and demonstration equipment clean and

neatly organized.
- Develop trusted customer relationships by anticipating customer needs
- Develop accurate reporting mechanisms of all Business Development programs.

**Team Building**
- Work with Toronto based Headquarters and Store Manager to recruit and mentor all sales

staff
- Aid in the training of new team members
- Create strong cohesion and team spirit to encourage and promote curiosity, diversity, and

collaboration

As the Business Development Manager, you will be an ambassador of the brand for our

customers. You will be an integral part of sharing the corporate values of Carré Blanc with the entire store team.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following**:

- Post Secondary Education, bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Marketing

Management, Interior Design is an asset.
- Bilingual capabilities in English and French
- 3+ years of People Management
- 3-5 years Retail experience
- Proficient in computer skills: MS Office & CRM
- Working in multi-channel (direct/indirect) environment, ecommerce experience is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Rigorous, results-oriented, strive for excellence.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to embrace change.
- Committed, proactive and passionate about retail and customer service.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability plan and organize sales presentations, meeting, marketing strategies, and more.
- Knowledge in interpreting company financial data and the ability to analyze it.
- Familiarity with social media, industry publications, and competitors of the company
- An interest in Interior design and inspiring clients
