- POSITION OVERVIEW
- The role serves as a strategic pillar within the team, entrusted with leading high-impact initiatives to successful outcomes and to own a key analytics business capability. Expectations for deliverables, such as presentations and reports, align with the superior standards set by top management consulting firms or marketing agencies — being both comprehensible and insightful. As a proactive authority in data, technology, and business processes, this position serves as a cornerstone for fostering influence and collaborative synergy within BDC's internal ecosystem. Recognized as a communicator, and implementer, this role is central to influencing organizational decisions and wider impact.
- CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Advocate for Marcom’s interests in aligning, tracking, and driving Corporate Plan forecasts and initiatives with Finance, Operations and Corporate Planning.-
- Lead the crafting of data-driven narratives for Board and Senior Management Committee presentations with the Marketing Strategy and the Marcom Leadership teams.-
- Ensure that all numbers going to executives align by implementing necessary processes, governance.-
- Spearhead the development, alignment, and forecasting of key performance indicators and metrics for the team.Anticipate and fulfill requests from Shareholder through government relations.-
- Perform data capture, analysis, modeling, management with industry best practices, frameworks, and proven professional methodologies.-
- Assume full accountability for the timely and successful delivery of initiatives, providing leadership and coaching to other team members.-
- Lead self and sometimes others to solve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables that may not have precedent.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- 15 to 20 years of relevant work experience driving analytics initiatives with cross-functional teams, advising executives on metrics definition, performance management or strategic orientation.- Heightened business acumen, macro-strategic perspective, emotional intelligence, and ability to adapt theory to operational processes.- Mastery of communication design, narratives and data modeling in PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI.- Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with partners to reach common objectives and commitments.- Proven track record of leading initiatives from idea to delivery while keeping stakeholders informed.- Ability to develop and own strong relationships with stakeholders and understand how his/her own work can impact the stakeholders. Ability to maintain these relationships.- Ability to lead discussions and gain adoption between data analysts, engineers, IT and the business on implementing innovative analytical concepts (e.g.: client lifetime value, attribution).- Exemplary proactiveness, self-management and professional maturity.- Ability to understand the flow and mechanics of data and systems within BDC, its characteristics and limitations.- Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of various data analysis techniques, from basic modelling to machine learning, to be able to pick the right method for the analysis at hand.- Ability to translate business goals, initiatives, campaigns into actionable metrics with baseline targets (e.g., engagement, sales, impact, return on investments, etc.)- Ability to advise on potential improvements to business practices based on data and insights through storytelling.
