**Job Title**: Head Operations and Sales Manager
**Location**: Toronto Canada
**Reports to**: COO
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Implement and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance across the organization.
- Oversee the development and execution of the marketing strategy, including creating advertisements and managing paid social media campaigns to attract new clients.
- Lead and manage the Event Coordinator to ensure streamlined operations and goal alignment.
- Collaborate with the Event Coordinator to oversee on-site booth activations, workshops, conventions, conferences, and other institutional gatherings, ensuring successful execution.
- Supervise and coordinate client events to ensure all activities meet the client's expectations and specifications.
- Work with the Head of Operations and Experience to develop and curate customer deliverables, coordinating with event coordinators to guarantee these deliverables are achieved.
- Partner with the Administrative/Sales Assistant to manage the entire sales pipeline, including cold-calling, engaging in in-bound lead conversations, scheduling meetings, and negotiating deals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to build long-term partnerships.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for the Head of Operations and the CEO of the foreign company, ensuring accurate and insightful data.
- Monitor the performance of team members, providing regular feedback, coaching, and opportunities for professional development.
- Manage budgets and financial plans for events and operations, ensuring all activities remain within budgetary constraints.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to boost overall productivity and operational effectiveness.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in operations and sales management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in developing and executing marketing strategies, including social media campaigns.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems and other sales and marketing tools is a plus.
- **Work Experience**: You have 3-5 years of work experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- **Motivation**: You should be self-driven and excited to work on new projects.
- **Commitment**: You do not take the responsibilities that you are given, lightly.
- **Independent Thinking**: While we need a doer, we especially need people who can think and contribute to the greater goal without necessarily being prompted to do so.
