Office Assistant

Supported by a network of independent sales agents across North America, SSM operates two production facilities within the Calgary area. To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add an Office Assistant to the team.
**Essential Functions**:
- Greeting visitors and answering incoming calls.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and couriers.
- Maintaining office supplies and managing copiers.
- Arranging catering services.
- Recording supplier invoices and coordinating with Finance for supplier reconciliations.
- Entering data in the ERP system such as invoices and project information.
- Maintaining the tracking software through creating warranty items, work orders and work order travelers.
- Tracking the shipping and receiving of replacement parts.
- Maintaining the production schedule based on updates from daily meetings.
- Creating labels for unit shipments.
- Organizing the shipment of warranty goods.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Superior communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
