Ceva is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist/Project Manager who will participate to the campus lean roadmap by leading key improvement projects in coordination with any functions of the site which increase industrial performances and develop the site's operational culture

Ceva Animal Health Canada established itself in Canada with the acquisitions of CentaurVA Animal Health and Vetech Laboratories in October 2011. Our Canadian presence expanded during 2019 when we acquired IDT Biologika subsidiary Gallant Custom Laboratories manufacturer of autogenous vaccines.

Ceva offers an expanding range of products for companion animals, poultry, swine, and ruminants for Canadian customers.

**Responsibilities**

Strategy and Policy
- Run projects according to strategic decisions..

Project Management
- Drive & coordinate project's execution within agreed budget, planning, scope and resources, according to group processes, procedures and governance;
- Communicate efficiently to stakeholders, inform upward and downward about project's decisions.

Tools
- Is responsible for setting up and updating the project plan (schedule, resources, budget etc.) using the corporate PPM tool

Process Improvement
- Participate in improving Project Management processes and best practices.
- Liaise with other project managers for knowledge management and harmonization of practices.

Cross/Team Management
- Lead and motivate the project team.
- Ensure adoption of team members to the organization's project management approach.

Lean Strategy
- Participate in the definition of the campus lean roadmap and propose relevant projects to achieve defined objectives.
- Lead key improvement projects at campus level in coordination with any functions of the site which increase industrial performances such as reduction of cost, improvement of quality, customer service level, operational lead time and improve the flexibility of the processes involved.

CPS Lean Model
- Adapt to the shopfloor CPS tools and methods to ensure appropriation and ownership of employees.
- Develop the site's operational culture by carrying out initiatives from employees.

Lean Management
- Support development of the campus governance system.
- Participate in the continuous improvement reviews to track the execution of defined improvement projects and associated goals.
- Bring the necessary support to all the functions involved in the consolidation of campus indicators necessary for piloting.
- Carry out the necessary meetings and reports related to the OE roadmap and piloted projects.
- Communicate lean successes and participate in awareness programs to promote the use of CI and team initiatives.

Industrial Performance
- In coordination with the department heads & team leaders, perform analysis performances of the various sectors, establish the diagnostics and follow the actions allowing the achievement of the defined objectives.
- Ensure respect of the project's budgets for which he is in charge. Participate in updating some budget standards (manhours,....) and commit the necessary actions in case of discrepancies.

Lean Support of Operational Functions as a Center of Expertise
- Participate in the management of investigations (impact evaluation, analysis, resolution, action monitoring).
- Select appropriate lean techniques and support teams in addressing issues and driving actions to generate measurable improvements.

Training and Coaching
- Identify the training needs of staff and follow related training plans.

Factory 4.0/Digital
- Provide support to the digital transformation by participating in the definition and optimization of processes concerned.

**About You**
- You have a post secondar degree/diploma in a Science or Engineering fieldf
- You have at least 3 Years' experience in Continuous Improvement
- You have strong Lean experience is essential especially Kaizen PDCA, 6S, SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die), Standard Work and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). The role is expected to lead Kaizen both within the department and with other departments to help drive continuous improvement and people engagement
- Ideally you have Lean Manufacturing and or Six Sigma Certification
- Ideally you have past experience in a Biological or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others and influence decisions
- You have the ability to navigate and be successful in a complex, highly matrixed work environment.
- You enjoy working with a team
- You are able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- You have strong analytical and problem solving abilities
