**What will you do?**

The Project Portfolio Leader acts as the Senior Process Excellence Leader for the Site, collaborates with the business council to identify improvement opportunities, ranks and implement projects to meet Business Goals. This role manages the overall Project portfolio and leads the deployment of MAKE Excellence programs such as Johnson & Johnson Production System (JJPS), JJOS and additional programs as required. The incumbent in this role ensures projects and programs meet customer and company requirements by leading the team and orchestrating communication, report out and business impact with leadership & production.

This role supports the business to act as a change agent in driving continued operational excellence in the organization. The person will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of standard processes to ensure performance targets are met as it relates to Continuous Improvement in the areas of Process Confirmation and Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS).

The Sr. Process Excellence Leader will employ process excellence methodologies to create value to the customer and drive ‘Right the First Time’ mentality. The incumbent supports project leaders and project teams in developing program schedules and tactical implementation plans to meet overall program targets. This role will collaborate with regional Make Excellence (MEx) leadership with sustaining continuous improvement programs, reinforcing and ensuring PE methodologies and governance process, and reporting on program performance.

**This role is responsible for leading Credo and site Culture activities (i.e What & HOW Workshops) including resource and budget planning for all activities/employees.**:
**Operational Excellence**

Implement and Support the plant Continuous Improvement roadmap, schedule, and deploy projects that align with plant strategy.
- Lead individual continuous improvement projects, initiatives & programs to deliver CIPs and process improvements (JJPS, JJOS, Crown-sourcing, Others as required).
- Support the creation and deployment of the Site Master Plan and long term strategies.
- Collaborate with business partners to implement targeted improvements in production areas to improve operational efficiencies.
- Develop and/or coach others on the creation of clear action plans to ensure efficient and effective improvement implementation.
- Implement, manage and report of performance measures, continuous improvement program, escalating roadblocks to success.
- Assess effort and impact of improvement ideas and advise on their implementation
- Deliver Continuous Improvement and/or Lean training to Project Leads
- Deliver training and coaching for Six Sigma Yellow, Green & Black Belts certifications as well as coaching on the FPx Project Management methodology as appropriate to support plant skill development.
- Embody and engage Guelph site for Continuous Improvement initiatives. Lead change management techniques to ensure success.
- Concurrent with the Continuous Improvement Program, ensure deployment and maintenance of all related Health & Safety, GMP, SOP, Preventive Maintenance, environmental and corporate systems, and standards in manufacturing.
- Network with Global MEx personnel to benchmark best practices for the program and implement for the Guelph site
