**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Annual Giving Officer oversees the annual donor portfolio, helping to build this critical pipeline of mass support through the delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns and an annual calendar of donor stewardship and engagement activities

Reporting to the Senior Director of Major Gifts, the Annual Giving Officer is a key member of a high-performing team, responsible for the development and implementation of the annual donor journey, as well as the execution of acquisition and renewal campaigns.

The Annual Giving Officer works collaboratively across the organization to develop and execute all annual giving revenue programs and initiatives (including direct response, monthly giving and tribute giving) aimed at acquiring, renewing, acknowledging, engaging and cultivating donors with a goal of expanding unrestricted revenue.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Major Gifts and working closely with other key stakeholders, the Annual Giving Officer will:

- Oversee the development and implementation of multi-channel annual donor campaigns, from campaign planning and concept development to ensuring all multi-channel fundraising campaigns are delivered on time and on budget;
- Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders through the campaign lifecycle;
- Work with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to develop and maintain sustainable and scalable CRM data management processes related to annual donor fundraising operations, including campaign data management and documentation of donor communication preferences and donor journey touchpoints;
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to effectively integrate annual donors into existing stewardship activities and cross-organizational communications.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience;
- Commitment to donor-centered fundraising principles, with a deep understanding of annual donor audience and methods by which donors can best be retained to increase their lifetime value;
