Accounting Manager

ONbord Doors manufactures high quality thermal laminate cabinet doors, edge banded doors, laminated panels, mouldings and furniture components. Established in 2019, they have an 80,000sqft facility in Mississauga, Ontario, as well as a sister facility that produces veneer plywood in Ingersoll, Ontario.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations of all entities and all transactions related to general ledger, financial reporting and with supporting AR/AP.
Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all financial accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and company transactions.
Manage 4 employees at the Mississauga location. Provide guidance and support to the 3 employees at the sister company location.
Prepare all schedules for the year end file and liaise with the external accounting firm.
Oversee and manage group benefits, all weekly payroll functions, filing of compliance reports, reporting of annual EHT and other reports as needed.
Work collaboratively with management to provide analysis and guidance.
Prepare combined statements using Excel for 2 operating companies and 3 holding companies.
Analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness. Book entries as required.
Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Liaise with government agencies, bankers, lawyers, accountants, insurance companies, customers and vendors.
Contact customers for collection, if required.
Other tasks as required.
**Job Requirements**
Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or above, minimum 2 years;
Experience in manufacturing an asset
4+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
University or college degree preferred
CPA designation preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of fostering a collaborative environment.
Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
Experience with Spire accounting software is preferred

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
