**The Opportunity**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of AMJ’s head office accounting along with our 5 subsidiaries.
- Royalty collection and forecasting monthly.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budget and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants as needed.
- Stay in tune with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related field. CPA an asset but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (IE: Quickbooks, and experience in Moveware account would be considered an asset)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in the moving, transportation or logistic industry is considered an asset.

**About AMJ**:
**Primary Location**:Mississauga, Ontario

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
**Starting Salary**: $80,000- $90,000, based on experience and fit
This is a non-remote position, and located in Mississauga ON.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
