Yurek Specialties Limited is a state-of-the-art processing facility in London, ON, which features the latest equipment to support the processing, production, and delivery of medical supplies and infusion equipment, along with related supplies, to the Elgin, Norfolk, Oxford, London-Middlesex, Huron, Perth, Grey, Bruce and Grand River counties.

We are currently looking for a **full-time** **Delivery Coordinator **to join our **Yurek Specialties **team in London, Ontario.

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, the delivery coordinator is responsible for managing the distribution and shipment schedules and ensuring that the routes are planned for cost optimization and time windows. They communicate with the drivers and the clients to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and completely. **Flexibility to work on all shifts is required to accommodate the operational needs of the distribution schedule.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Schedule deliveries and prepare routing sheets for drivers provide customer service support or training
- Communicate dispatch to drivers (including shift plans, plot plan information and truck and trailer information.)
- Confirm loads have been delivered.
- Track order deliveries and notify customers of any shipment delays
- Ensure the proper packaging and storage of products to prevent damage and product loss
- Communicate with clients to confirm order specifics, payments, or delivery addresses.
- Understand organizational logistics for efficient order fulfillment
- Record all safety and service incidents to management
- Answer incoming calls, handle general inquiries, and forward calls to the appropriate destination
- Record customer orders, messages and requests - forward to appropriate areas
- Record deliveries in the format as required by the customer
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Preferred post
- secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years logistics, courier, dispatching experience
- Experience with Service schedule software is an asset.
- Strong communication skills - Verbal and written
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
