**As a Freight Coordinator, you will be supporting our Operations and Sales teams.**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Source and negotiate with carriers for best rates. Establish and maintain relationships with carriers for ongoing business opportunities
- Enter booking and shipping information into database and confirm/verify carrier agreements
- Track and trace loads to address any issues and ensure accurate deliveries
- Liaise with customers to resolve inquiries and provide updates or changes
- Work closely with release team to coordinate drayage moves to manage storage and demurrage
- Oversee and manage progress of all deliveries and loads
- Maintaining shipping records and ensure accuracy of information
- Working with vendors to ensure the best rates and terms for their services

**Qualifications**:

- 1 - 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics
- Familiarity with documentation required
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work.
- Must be able to follow instructions and learn new procedures.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
