Clinical Coordinator of Programs and Services

Action Centre is a non profit organization in Saint-Laurent, QC. We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to to create an inclusive community for adults with physical disability.
The Action Center, a community center for adults with physical disabilities, is looking for an experienced Clinical Coordinator of Programs and Services.
The Clinical Coordinator of Programs and Services carries out his or her responsibilities in accordance with the Action Centre's vision, mission, ethics, and values, as well as operational policies and procedures.
S/he will plan, lead, create, and facilitate (as needed) recreational/educational programs and help maintain/improve the physical, social, and emotional well-being of Action Centre's clientele using a variety of modalities (in-person, virtual or hybrid programming). Under the direction of the Centre's Executive Director, he will effectively lead the service team and will ensure quality programming and services.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
Under the direction of the general management, s/he will:
- Assess members needs and develop programs to meet their needs and interests
- Develop program and activity schedules (on-site, online, in the community) following the four pillars of the Center's programming
- Facilitate activities as needed
- Evaluate, document, and analyze the impact of programs and interventions as well as members participation
- Develop and implement individual, and group intervention plans to help members achieve their goals, acquire social skills, cope with stress, anxiety, or adjustment difficulties
- Be present at members' arrival and departure time
- Coordinate specific events (activities, reporting, staffing, communication, mass mailings, invoicing, etc.)
- Demonstrate effective communication with key partners; ensure the optimal recruitment of facilitators (or teachers) and service staff; ensure adequate staffing for daily activities
- Ensure the supervision of the teachers/facilitators and the service staff
- Ensure that the programming and teachers/facilitators' service delivery reflects the mission of the Center
- Recruit, train, and supervise service staff, student interns, and volunteers
- Follow Action Center policies and procedures, including the health and safety of all participants and staff
- Manage client files and ensure optimal use of the CRM
- Establish collaboration with academic institutions to recruit and supervise student internships, participate in relevant research projects, and grant works
- Maintain ongoing communication with family members, caregivers, residence managers, and intervention teams in connection with the participation and well-being of members
- Support the management as needed, collaborate in organizing various meetings (annual assembly, committees, staff, etc.), draft documents (minutes, annual report, various internal and external communications, etc.), ensure good administrative management of the premises and material assets of the organization
**Education and experience**:
- Undergraduate degree in intervention-helping domain (Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Special care counseling, etc.)
- Experience providing educational and recreational services to adults with physical disabilities
- Experience in need assessment, intervention plans, program development, evaluation, and facilitation
- Excellent bilingualism with proficiency in speaking/ writing in French
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Experience working with Physically Disabled clientele, active listening skills, empathy, individual and group intervention plans development
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs
- Experience in leadership and team management
- Ability to train, develop and motivate staff, demonstrating a positive attitude that promotes collaboration, well-being, and safety of all
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong conflict and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with the ability to work well independently
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office platform, and experience with database reporting systems
- MUST BE BILINGUAL (English/French), with strong written and oral communication skills
**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour
