**Program Coordinator**

Reporting to the program and research manager, the program coordinator is responsible for promoting continuous quality improvement in the program department and ensuring that MABC members have access to the appropriate programs to advance in their profession. The program coordinator also facilitates partnerships with external parties for educational and learning sessions.

**Shared Responsibilities**
- Works collaboratively within and across teams to ensure high-quality programs and services for members
- Provides support to other members of the staff team during periods of high workload
- Attends and participates in staff and team meetings
- Develop an annual work plan with the direct manager in the context of the MABC strategic plan

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Promoting continuous quality improvement and evaluation, resolution of member concerns, and coordinating activities required for progressive educational programs.
- Coordinating the logistics of the facilitation of learning sessions, coordinating location and equipment bookings, and supporting and maintaining accurate records of and projecting certifications as needed.
- Ensuring appropriate education supplies and supporting materials are available and equipment is in working order and maintaining an updated inventory list
- Supporting robust tracking data and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely records are kept and appropriate and timely information is provided to members.
- Responding to verbal and written communication and liaising internally and externally to respond to, share information, clarify details, and ensure follow-up with the MABC Programs Manager on emergent issues.
- Ensuring the accuracy of program documents and forms and making them available upon the member's request.
- CollaboratesCollaborating with the Communications team to ensure program documents and information on the website are up to date.
- Assisting eligible members in accessing the webpages on the website and guiding members in usage.
- Understanding and expertise with program objectives, eligibility requirements, relevant policies,relevant policies and timelines.
- Recommending and implementing best practices to support the administration of special MABC programs.
- SupportsSupporting and maintaining professional relationships with organizations external to the MABC (e.g. UBC)
- Booking travel and accommodation requests for members, including the locum program.
- Preparing accurate financial information, including invoice calculations, payment and reimbursement for MABC Program Manager approval.
- Creating and maintaining process documentation as it relates to continuing midwifery education and program coordination.
- Supports with new program development, implementationSupporting with new program development, implementation, and evaluation.

**Main Qualification**
- Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Education, or a relevant fields is required
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in a fast-paced environment is required, preferably in healthcare or a not-for-profit organization
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Advanced computer software skills in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms) and virtual environment are required
- Demonstrated time management skills. 
- Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills and good judgment necessary to coordinate many interdependent activities
- Professional tact and diplomacy, and confidentiality are required.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic and highly motivated team
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and quality while meeting deadlines.
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and demands, and efficiently manage work with competing priorities and deadlines.
