Integrated Care Solutions (ICS) is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Support Services team. The Billing Specialist, under the direction of the Director of Support Services, is responsible for the completion of day-to-day/monthly billing audits, reconciliation and correction activities as required to meet our stakeholder requirements. The position acts as a liaison between various stakeholders within ICS and Bayshore.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolution of billing queries and questions from clients and stakeholders including but not limited to the coordination of all billing activities between the programs, shared services, finance and operations teams.
- Responsible for the validation, reconciliation and billing data entry corrections.
- Leveraging of all tools and processes utilized in month end activities, ensuring monthly timelines are met.
- Coordination of new or changing programs, units and communication with stakeholders.
- Invoice validation from other departmental sources in collaboration with Accounts Payable.
- Attend meetings as scheduled for the purpose of billing reconciliation.
- Ensure deadlines are met for all reporting commitments.
- Participate in the planning and execution of billing and analytical reporting.
- Create and manage process documentation.
- Participate in ongoing internal/external continuing education activities.
- Participate in team and/or organization-wide committees as requested
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
- Participates in proactive Health& Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health& Safety risks or concerns
- Positive work and attendance performance essential
- Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
- Complete other tasks as requested

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**

The Billing Specialist will report to the Director of Support Services.

Job Qualification

Education
- Post secondary education College/University degree

**Experience**
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in resolving billing question/concerns
- Working knowledge of Procura & Yardi are assets

**Other Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Creativity, flexibility, positive attitude

- Ability to adapt to change quickly with shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Technological proficiency: use of MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Financial acumen

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

The Billing Specialist must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, as well as agree upon specific goals and objectives.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the three-month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis. Input will be sought from employee, ICS team and in addition, will be based on ongoing client feedback and the extent to which performance meets expectations.
