**The Opportunity**

StarGarden Corporation is a leader in the development of Human Resources, Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Workflow software solutions.

StarGarden’s target markets are local government, education, healthcare, heavy industry, cross-border, and manufacturing. Our prospects have long sales cycles (6-24 months) and we need a sales consultant to identify opportunities, respond to RFP’s, create relationships, and nurture leads. StarGarden is a boutique organization, so we are looking for someone who is happy to wear multiple hats when required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Solution Consulting to understand our prospect's business challenges and to effectively show how StarGarden can solve their challenges.
- You will understand the customer and guide them through the sales process
- You will spend time researching the industry, challenges that are faced by our prospects, and discovering ways StarGarden can solve these problems
- You will identify and qualify prospects through cold calling, MQLs, and SQLs.
- You will nurture and guide these prospects through the long sales cycle creating multiple touches within their organization
- You will help play a key role in discovery, demos, RFPs demo prep, and prospect nurturing
- You will provide one-on-one discussions with executive teams, whether that is in person, via phone, or through virtual meetings
- You will help in the sales planning and business cases
- You will work closely with our customer service team to assist with a seamless handover to account management and projects.
- You will support the development of marketing and product development
- You will support corporate marketing communications in building content
- Input and maintain client records in CRM (HubSpot)
- You will be excited to learn about StarGarden’s solution and be an expert to understand and sell the value that StarGarden will bring to the customer and what sets StarGarden apart from our competitors.

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in software would be preferred
- Ability to multi-task, adapt, plan and influence
- Strong knowledge of HR business practices, policies, and solutions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- CRM experience, in particular, HubSpot would be an asset
- Highly Proficient in MS Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You would be expected to travel for conferences, trade shows, demonstrations, and ad hoc visits. This would be ad hoc throughout the year and may require weekend travel.

You must legally be allowed to work in Canada.

OTE $100,000+

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
