The Inventory Distribution Assistant is responsible to assist the Inventory Distribution Manager in the organization and administration of our inventory. Reporting to the Inventory Distribution Manager the Inventory Distribution Assistant will support in receiving, processing, tagging, and distributing inventory from our warehouse to our retail stores.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Receiving vendor shipments into the warehouse, dating the packages and notifying the Inventory Distribution Manager and Purchasing Director of the arrival.
- Receiving the vendor order as instructed and in accordance with receiving procedures and notify the Inventory Distribution Manager of any discrepancies.
- Prepare vendor order for pricing and notify the Product Manager and Purchasing Director when ready for review.
- Match tags to orders ready to process.
- Tag inventory according to tagging procedures and advise Inventory Distribution Manager when complete.
- Split inventory according to predetermined allocation and transfer inventory accordingly to the retail stores.
- Warehouse extra inventory to assigned storage unit within 24 hours of retail store distribution.
- Assist with replenishment of inventory from the warehouse to the retail stores per delivery.
- Assist with inventory tasks as assigned such as retags, line pulls, style pulls, inter-store transfers, RTS, Customer Repairs, markdowns and inventory counts.
- Assist with processing reports as requested.
- Attend and contribute to meetings as required.
- Be flexible to assist and assume other duties at any time as required.
- Accuracy in duties performed.Detail and task oriented.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Available 3-5 days per week.
- Available Sunday to Thursday.
- Knowledge of the POS, Excel and Outlook an asset.
- Knowledge of the retail industry is an asset.
