**Supply Chain Manager**

XL Flooring Co. Ltd. is a premier luxury vinyl floor importer and distributor providing sales and service to over 1,500 flooring dealers across North America. We are a privately owned Canadian company that has established strategic manufacturing partnerships in Korea, to produce the most-trusted, reliable and stable luxury vinyl flooring offered in North America today. We are currently recruiting for the role of Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic and energetic team.
This position manages one direct report.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Manage inbound and outbound logistics
- Ensure the uninterrupted flow of product from our overseas suppliers, to domestic ports, to our 3PLs and finally to customers
- Maintain relationships with our partners: manufacturing, freight forwarding, 3PL, LTL, freight and logistics
- Project monthly and quarterly changes to logistics costs
- Investigate and present new partners or programs for increased efficiency

2. Oversee inventory management
- Forecast weekly inventory requirements and present replenishment plan
- Ensure stock levels and inventory transfer and carrying costs align to sales, turnover and financial metrics
- Review monthly inventory reconciliation
- Organize quarterly inventory spot checks at 3PLs
- Lead annual inventory count

3. Administrative
- Setup and maintain products and items in the ERP
- Communicate inventory status regularly with Sales Support and Sales Management
- Review and update purchase orders based on commercial invoices
- Update and present the monthly Supply Chain business review report
- Update, review and provide periodic reports on inventory, processing errors and other pertinent information
- Review and approve freight bills

**Requirements**:

- Post secondary degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 1-2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Transportation
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal in English
- Ability to work well independently and yet a good team player with the ability to build strong relationships
- Previous experience in NetSuite is a strong asset
- Previous experience in the retail, flooring, import or distribution industry is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and accurate
