Here are the details:
Job Summary:
This position requires the instructor to teach students about Supply Chain Management with a focus on Transportation & Logistics using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups and independent or group projects
Schedule:
24 weeks cohort based program
Mondays to Fridays, 8:30AM to 4:30PM (PST), online and onsite
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach students using a systematic plan with clear learning objectives
- Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Administer and mark tests (when necessary)
- Advise students on program curricula
- Maintain a professional relationship with students while ensuring that their general well-being is also looked after
- Update and maintain grades on a weekly basis
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and report patterns of absence
Qualifications:
**CITT (Canadian Institute of Transportation & Traffic) certification a must
- University degree in a business-related field and a minimum 2 years of corporate training or business-related work experience OR 10 years of full-time business experience
- Teaching experience with international students preferred (minimum 2 years)
- Fluent command of the English language; both verbal and written mastery
- must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially, Excel/PowerPoint, and familiar with Zoom video conferencing as well as Social Media platforms
