**Overview**
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Vancouver HQ As part of our Distribution team, our Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing our inbound shipments, overseeing our transportation vendors, the logistics functions of our ecommerce business, and ensuring that products are delivered to our customers on time and in a cost-effective manner.
We’re continuing to grow at Vessi and with that, comes new, exciting challenges for our Distribution team as we expand our network. We’re looking for someone who is eager to take problems head on, support with solutioning and wants to make an impact in a crucial area of our business.

**What You’ll Do**:
- Provide end-to-end visibility and insight into the transportation and shipping of outbound goods
- Review, prepare, and direct inbound purchase orders to the appropriate warehouse
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional planning essential for the transportation and shipping of outbound goods, ensuring a cohesive and efficient process
- Monitor and ensure shipments are picked up, transported and delivered successfully in a timely and cost effective manner
- Comply with customs filing procedure (CERS, eManifest, etc.) for Canadian and U.S. Export Regulations
- Communicate and manage the relationship with 3PL, suppliers and transportation vendors
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering prompt feedback and assistance to our Customer Happiness team concerning shipment statuses and inquiries
- Report and resolve IT errors in a timely manner that are responsible for the flow of information from one platform to another to ensure smooth operations
- Analyze operational issues and provide solutions to improve warehousing processes and efficiency
- Place timely orders for materials based on consumption analysis and inventory levels
- Demonstrate problem solving and interpersonal skills to find the best solutions for the customers, warehouse and carrier partners
- Create new reporting and tracking processes to achieve accurate and useful information to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the distribution team and our 3PLs
- Systematically monitor, assess, and report on critical supply chain metrics, including on-time delivery, warehouse service level agreements (SLA), and other pivotal business process indicators
- Entrepreneurially manage carrier relationships to maximize their services and commitments
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to assist the transportation of goods
- Review all shipments according to the service level agreed with all vendors and carriers and take actions on undelivered items
- Monitor and analyze mis-shipments to prevent future occurrences
- Responsible for ensuring that the physical inventory audits of Vessi are accurate and complete
- Assist with warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to maximize storage efficiency
- Propose and contribute ideas and improvements to the current supply chain that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business
- Ensuring that our partners are held accountable for all shipments that they are responsible for
- Maintain precise inventory records and files to ensure seamless operations
- Consolidating workloads to achieve significantly improved results through enhanced efficiency
**What We’re Looking For**:
- 1+ years of logistics experience in retail, e-commerce and/or DTC
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong proficiency with MS Office and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
