The role of the Retail Marketing Manager is to manage the development and implementation of all retail advertising initiatives to ensure attainment of the corporate business plan through generating consumer demand for Kia vehicles.

**Responsibilities**
- Define Retail Advertising strategies for execution together with dealers, leveraging corporate marketing expertise and buying power to create and support consistent and professional marketing activities for execution by dealers.
- Manage the monthly retail newspaper ad development and approval process for both the regional Dealership Advertising Associations (DAAs) as well as for corporate ads.
- Facilitate all monthly regional dealer advertising association meetings.
- Manage and administer Kia’s Co-op advertising program.
- Manage and monitor Kia’s advertising standards and guidelines.
- Oversee advertising campaigns which increase consumer awareness, consideration, and drive both showroom traffic and vehicle sales.
- Work with AOR (Agency of Record) to establish market research/intelligence and marketing metrics capabilities to ensure strong understanding of customer needs and preferences, competitive environment, and direct measurement of effectiveness in all sales and marketing activities.
- Implement effective communication plans to disseminate advertising plans across the Kia organization as well as to the dealer body.
- Establish customer intelligence capability, enabling more targeted prospect marketing throughout the duration of the ownership cycle.
- Establish and modify marketing plans which meet or exceed sales expectations.

**Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required**
- 5+ years of previous experience in automotive OEM sales and marketing
- University degree in sales/marketing or related field required.
- Previous Advertising, Marketing & Retail Incentives experience
- Must have understanding of media: 1) planning and 2) TV, online, print, OOH, etc.
- Proven ability to work with agencies and media organizations.
- Excellent Project Management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Budget management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint & Outlook).
