Finance and School Records Coordinator

**Responsibilities include**:
Financial duties:
- Full-cycle accounting
- Maintaining Balance Sheet accounts
- Completing bank deposits and bank reconciliations
- Various month-end and year-end duties including working paper preparation, and GL accounts analysis
- Financial Statement preparation
- Quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors
- Preparation of Tuition and other invoices
- Statistical and Government Reporting
- Payroll
- HST / GST / PST returns
- Preparing and analyzing other statistical and accounting information as needed
- Monthly CCOF submissions
- Monthly CCFRI payments
- Monthly Wage Enhancement submissions and payments
Office/School Records Duties:
- Maintaining/updating school database, records and files
- Preparing Data Collection for Ministry in a timely manner
- Coordinating the new student registration process and waitlists.
- Maintaining ongoing knowledge of current policies, procedures, filing and organizational structure
- Other duties, as required
**Qualifications**:
- Accounting degree, enrollment in CPA-CA/CMA/CGA or certified public bookkeeper designation.
- Experience with not-for-profit and charitable organizations
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Results driven
- Can effectively manage time and tasks working both on-site and remotely
- Ability to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures
- English language fluency (written and conversational)
- Previous childcare or independent school experience and asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $63,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
