Overview:
We are seeking two highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing a summer fundraiser, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our clients and guests. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from start to finish, including weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences
- Research and select suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers
- Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate event logistics such as catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations
- Create detailed event timelines and schedules
- Oversee event setup, including decor arrangement and seating plans
- Manage on-site event operations to ensure smooth execution
- Address any issues or concerns that may arise during events
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests throughout the event

Qualifications:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or upgrades to clients
- Knowledge of catering services and menu planning is a plus
- Familiarity with the market trends in the events industry
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in event planning software or tools is an advantage

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Regina, SK S4X 0A9
