**Inland Audio Visual was established in 1937, making it the oldest full-service AV integrator in Canada. With an extensive events inventory and five branches spreading across the prairies, we are fully able to support our client’s needs in a Sales - Service - Rentals capacity.**

**Position description**

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Event Specialist is primarily responsible for providing quotations and consultations on audio visual related events. It is the responsibility of the Event Specialist to maintain current business relationships and develop new business opportunities.

This individual would be responsible for maintaining relationships throughout southern Saskatchewan. Some non-extensive travel required. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8-5, with the requirement of occasional after hour support to meet deadlines.

**Sales Duties**
- Establish credibility and trust with clients through timely quotations, exceptional customer service, and professional equipment selection.
- Attend and assist at planning meetings with clients and venues prior to staging functions, conferences and conventions.
- Communicate with venues and clients to finalize all details and timing for delivery, set-up and dismantle of production.
- Ensure orders are carried out as per client directives and contract criteria. Work with onsite technicians to ensure production runs efficiently and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Carry out conferences with multiple clients, subcontractors, staff and venues to coordinate deliverables and operations of event.
- Follow-up with client after show to:
a.) Obtain client feedback ensuring the production was successful.

b.) Assist client in all requests, confirming changes as they arise, keeping them informed and confident on their production.

c.) Recommending key processes changes to Management based off of client feedback.

d.) Negotiate sales contracts and discounts with clients while maintaining profitability.
- Maintain market knowledge to be able to develop competitive contracts and earn business.
- Assist at trade shows where deemed necessary.

**Operations Duties**
- Assist office staff in acquiring inventory and confirming proper staffing for events.
- Coordinate with office staff to ensure all equipment, delivery, setup, operations and dismantle requirements are met.
- Staff training: identify deficiencies and train/arrange for training of technicians through company assisted programs or manufacture training. Branch Manager to assist and approve.
- Assist and support company technical staff when required.
- Any other duties assigned by the Branch Manager.
- Ensure all information pertaining to contracts are accurate for office staff and internal records.

**Remuneration**

**Renumeration based on experience and skillset. Salary with commission and bonus incentives.**

**Salary**: $32,400.58-$87,874.43 per year
