**Job description**

**Who we are**:
**We are a yacht repair and maintenance company on the North Shore who specialize in cosmetic and structural repairs. We are a one stop shop for boat and yacht owners to get annual maintenance and any larger projects completed on their boats. We project manage with other contractors in the lower mainland. Some of the projects we take on regularly would be detailing, polishing and waxing, antifouling paint, paint repairs, gelcoat repairs, bright work, non-skid repairs, and installations. We have a small paint supply store, as well as being a proud "Watermaker" and "Hurley Marine" dealer.**

**What we’re looking for**:

- **Previous bookwork (Quickbooks) experience is mandatory**:

- **Customer service experience**:

- **Willingness to learn**:

- **Organizational skills (This is a must)**:

- **Some boat knowledge would be preferred**:

- **Knowledge of assorted tools**:

- **Can take accurate measurements and order materials and supplies**:

- **Comfortable working with little to know supervision at times**:

- **Has own car, and can drive it to pick up materials and supplies from local suppliers on occasion**:

- **Typing experience mandatory**:

- **Experience with spelling and dictation**

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- **Doing Invoices and Work Orders**:

- **Invoices and Estimates (Quickbooks experience is preferred)**:

- **Tracking Timesheets**:

- **Payroll**:

- **Placing orders**:

- **Picking up orders, if need be**:

- **Human Resources (Manage benefit enrolment for employees, and answer questions about coverage)**:

- **Assisting with Watermaker sales (Sending invoices, tracking shipments, etc.)**:

- **Attending trade shows and boat shows to work booths**:

- **Assisting the owner/operator with day to day, duties ad hoc**:

- **Boating experience will be highly beneficial**

**Wage: Depending upon experience, starting at $22 per hour**

**2 years of experience as a receptionist/administrative assistant/coordinator**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
