Serving more than 157,000 residential and business customers in the City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Township of Woolwich, Township of Wilmot, and Township of Wellesley, Enova Power Corp. is the 7th largest electricity distribution utility in Ontario.

This position is classified as Group I in our Collective Agreement with Local 636, Office Unit, of the I.B.E.W.

Reporting to the Customer Care Supervisor, this position is responsible for receiving and greeting visitors in the lobby of the office and accepting and routing all incoming telephone inquiries. Other duties include: archiving paperwork through scanning and indexing, and a range of clerical tasks to support office staff. The normal hours of work for this position will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour unpaid lunch period. Note that this is a full-time permanent opportunity and will be based out of our Victoria Street location.

**Compensation**
- Starting rate is $21.75 /hour

**Skills/Abilities/Knowledge**
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work with the public and other staff members in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner
- General knowledge of standard office equipment, personal computers, scanners, and telephone switchboard operation
- Excellent telephone demeanour

**Experience/Education**
- A secondary school graduation diploma
- Past experience in an office environment with receptionist duties
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
