Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire Associate Product Owner working in Product Operations with the Rating Product Suite team, reporting to Manager, Rating Product.

**Accountabilities**:
Fully understand the context, complexity, goals and needs of the product suite vision and roadmap

**Assist in developing and maintaining the Product Backlog**:
facilitate discovery sessions

conduct feature research and analysis to understand ACG’s operational business processes and how these processes are integrated with, influenced and shaped by business systems

Collect and analyze a variety of data (e.g. industry, competitive, customer and stakeholder feedback) and with guidance, identify key themes and validate assumptions regarding product features

Gather data, metrics and measurements as input to defining KPIs that act as leading indicators for success

writing user stories containing descriptions and acceptance criteria that will address business needs and produce the required solutions for the customer

**Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies which include**:
Daily Stand-Ups

Sprint Reviews

Sprint and Product Integration Planning

Sprint Retrospectives

Backlog refinement & grooming sessions

Product demonstrations

**Assist with communications**:
Actively participate, collaborate and communicate with all stakeholders at various levels within the organization to ensure everyone understands the product features

Communicate changes, improvements and other important information about the Product as needed

**Assist with Product Implementation & Operationalization**:
participate in user acceptance testing to ensure the final product moving to production meets the business requirements provided

liaise with stakeholders when changes to the system are made through Product Backlog Management

Participate in the planning and delivery of product rollout, including training, organizational change management and communication

Participate in information gathering and analysis when incidents and problems are reported

Conduct analysis for ongoing maintenance and enhancements from a business requirements perspective

To support the Product Owner, the Accociate Product Owner will:
Conduct internal/external research

Conduct a business analysis and gathering of information

Facilitate stakeholder group(s) engagement to gather/clarify business needs & requirements

Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Masters to plan deployments and optimize Product Team resource capacity

Advocate for the customer and end user; continually de-risk product direction & adjust the user stories to accommodate changes needed within the agile methodology and strategic vision

In concert with the IT Product Delivery team, work collaboratively with key stakeholders and partners, ensuring the successful definition, execution, and communication strategies for the Product(s).

Participate in the product in-take process.

Work within the product suite budget.

Act as the “Voice of the Customer” to ensure products & features address known customer needs.

Working with the Product Owner and/or Product Suite Owner, help to lead cross-functional stakeholder collaboration & communication to ensure completeness of vision and identification of initiatives that will drive the most business value for ACG
