**The Opportunity**:
The position of **Base Manager** will be responsible for managing a profitable field service operation through delivering safe and reliable services and quality products to our clients, timely maintenance of fleet assets and inventory management for the area.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for promoting LSI values and safety culture through effective demonstration and leadership, at all times
- Responsible for steady growth in product and service revenue while taking accountability for service delivery and all expense management. Ensure a profitable business that meets budgets
- Responsible for formal planning and coordination of field service activities while ensuring that all paperwork is fully completed, accurate, legible and submitted in a timely manner by self and employees
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining processes for inventory control, maintenance of equipment and facilities, along with all related administrative functions for the base operations
- Responsible for supervision and staff training and providing coaching and mentoring to employees. Strong mechanical skills are required, as well as the ability to ensure safe and effective work practices and a safe working environment

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
The incumbent would normally attain the required knowledge and skills through previous employment, on-the-job training, formal training and education.

The incumbent must have a minimum of five years of oilfield experience or equivalent technical training, as well as leadership, supervisory, organizational, people and training skills, and excellent communication skills. The ability to follow oral and written direction and well as manage a “bottom line business” is a must.

**Knowledge & Proficiency**:

- Knowledge of LSI product lines, field services, equipment and functions thereof
- A basic knowledge of finance with respect to cost control, budgets, business plans, income statements, etc.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and knowledge around oilfield industrial equipment
- An understanding of the oil & gas artificial lift industry
